FALLING IN LOVE WITH INDIAN PRINTS AND DESIGNS, ALL OVER AGAIN!
I have always enjoyed wearing everything Indian, even if just remotely so. Salwar kurtis, sarees, lehengas, anarkalis, printed dupattas, traditional prints like kalamkari, hand block prints, bandhani, etc have always found a way into my wardrobe. The loud colours and elegant prints are a major part of my life. Being far away from home has only increased my love for them!
One of my favourite fashion hubs is Zuleiha in Kochi. They are known for their exquisite ethnic collection ranging from salwar kurtis, dresses and skirts to anarkalis, lehengas and embroidered vests which can be made to order with your choice of colours, fabrics and designs with professional assistance; or shopped directly from their online store.
A few pieces from their latest collection…
About the look : This skirt can be paired with tank tops, cottons shirts or crop tops. I went for a black crop top and silver statement neckpiece to give it a twist. The skirt is super comfortable and has a lovely print. This has to be my favourite outfit 🙂
About the look : Two colours I love – red and black! This anarkali can be worn either with a maxi skirt or a pair of palazzos, or as a dress. Add some jewelry, and you are good to go!
About the look : This asymmetric dress is a wonder in navy blue and white, with a touch of red. It can be worn with some chunky accessories and high heels. The colours and prints, to dye for 😉
About the look : Again, another favourite outfit from the collection 🙂 There was a time when I used to wear kalamkari prints to college every other day. I kept this look simple with just a heavy bangle (with two elephants on them! did you see them? 🙂 )
About the look : This cotton kurti is the epitome of comfort. I could walk around all day in this, feeling fresh and happy. Add a couple of bangles and a pair of juthis or kolhapuris, and you ready for hot afternoons. You could choose to wear it as a dress or with cotton pants (palazzos or traditional salwar bottoms).
Hope you loved the collection. Do share your thoughts with us 🙂
